1st:
Trench for waterline out to the shop being dug in the freezing rain! First icy driveway of the season. Music room being prepped for painting the woodwork – lead precautions being taken. Windows from Records Room and Music Room have been removed and are in Portland for restoration. Storms windows plus plastic on the interior are keeping these rooms rooms dry and weather tight for now.
3rd:
Could hear the wind whipping around the house today – plastic plus storms seems to be working well.
12th:
Kennebec Land Trust gathering and campfire out by the pavilion – a beautiful December day – warm and sunny on the porch.
