Tours of Vaughan Homestead

House Tours are offered at 10:00 a.m. on select days throughout July and August 
Check back in June for 2023 dates. 
Details:
$10/person (cash only please)
Reservations are not required. Tour attendees may park at Vaughan Homestead at 2 Litchfield Road in Hallowell – come in through the gate where Second Street curves to become Litchfield Road. Drive down the driveway and park in front of the barn. Look for our interpreter by the courtyard at at the side of the house. Feel free to arrive 10-15 minutes early to roam the gardens and grounds. Tours gather and begin promptly at 10:00. 

Group & Private Tours

House and garden tours as well as guided walking tours of our historic trails and bridges may be arranged for private groups such as garden clubs, historical societies, Scouts, home schools, or family/friends groups. The minimum group size is 4 minimum. $10/person. Contact us at info@vaughanhomestead.org to make arrangements.

Specialty Tours

Specialty themed tours and programs (e.g. Women of the Homestead, Art History Tours, etc.) are offered on occasion throughout the year and are open to the public by reservation.
