House Tours are offered at 10:00 a.m. on select days throughout July and August

Reservations are not required. Tour attendees may park at Vaughan Homestead at 2 Litchfield Road in Hallowell – come in through the gate/brick pillars where Second Street curves to become Litchfield Road. Drive down the driveway and park in front of the barn. Look for our interpreter by the courtyard at at the side of the house. Feel free to arrive 10-15 minutes early to roam the gardens and grounds. Tours gather and begin promptly at 10:00.
Kids welcome!
Bring a snack/picnic and enjoy the gardens and grounds before or after the tour. Many people plan a day of it and also go for a hike on the adjacent historic walking trails.
