The house and grounds are alive again! Volunteer interpreters and researchers were here each Wednesday through the spring, the prom was here, 3rd graders came in June for their Simple Machines field trip, and now our summer interns have arrived!
A lot of good work has happened in the house this spring. The music room woodwork is painted and the new (reproduced) wallpaper has arrived. New shelves were built in the back bedroom closet for storing document boxes, framed items, and scrolls. The gardens are in their full glory, and we are looking forward to having the public come in July for tours!
