Trail Conditions: The trails of Vaughan Woods are not groomed or cleared of snow in the winter. Heavy use on the main trail often compacts the snow, making for slippery conditions. We recommend wearing ice grippers or snow shoes.
Skiing: The Corniche Loop Trail is popular for skiing. We do not recommend taking skis on the Brook Trail.
Dogs: As always, dogs must be leashed and pet waste carried out*.
*An accumulation of dog waste on the trail left throughout the winter creates dangerous health conditions for trail users during the weeks of the spring melt, especially young children. Please be considerate and carry out your pet waste.
