Ancient Roman architecture, the King of France, buried treasure, a wizard, a ghost, a lost tunnel, the fight for the Great Falls  . . . hear local legends, family lore, and the actual true story of Vaughan Woods on this 2-hour walking tour. Also, learn about the history of the stone bridges and the ongoing restoration project. 

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Group size is limited. Sign-up is required. No Fee. 

The program will begin at Vaughan Homestead promptly at 10 a.m.. Participants may arrive a few minutes early and meet under the Garden Pavilion. Parking is available at the Homestead at 2 Litchfield Road. Please be prepared to be walking for up to 2-hours. The terrain is easy to moderate and the pace will be slow.
